Enrollment ProcEss
Our preschool classroom will have a maximum of 15 children, with children ages 2.5 to 6 years. We enroll children on a rolling-basis, depending on space and program requirements.
Our enrollment process will begin with a tour to ensure a mutual fit within our school community. We encourage you to bring your child and schedule sufficient time for one on one engagement between your child and our teacher.
The final step will be to welcome your child into our preschool community, joining the group and building relationships that will help your child to thrive over the following years within the program.
hours and Calendar
Beginning Fall 2026, Matthews Beach Children’s House will also offer a full-day program option for families!
Our program operates year-round and follows the Seattle Public Schools holiday calendar. The school will also be closed for one week in December, one week in June, and one week at the end of August.
Half-Day Program:
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Full-Day Program:
Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM–1:15 PM (Early Release)
Tuition
Tuition is based on a total amount for the school year, divided into 12 monthly payments.
