Matthew Beach Children’s House is a warm and nurturing place for children to grow, explore, and find a love of learning.
Matthews Beach Children’s House is a community-centric half-day Montessori program in the heart of the Matthews Beach neighborhood in Northeast Seattle. The school resides in a classic 1920 house, just off Sand Point Way, with a half-acre yard full of mature plantings and trees, allowing children to supplement the Montessori experience with an amazing and expansive outdoor environment.
In the secure, outdoor environment, children will find nature-based activities designed to foster exploration, connection with nature, and appreciation for the environment.
Inside, children will find a beautifully prepared Montessori environment, where the Lead Montessori teacher, with the help of Montessori guides, implement the Montessori philosophy.
